The University of Agder (UiA) is a public university located in southern Norway, with campuses in Kristiansand and Grimstad, and over 13,000 students. Established in 2007, UiA offers a wide range of undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs across disciplines such as technology, business, health, education, the arts, and social sciences.
The university focuses innovation, interdisciplinary research, and strong connections with regional industries and communities. UiA supports student-centered learning environment, international collaboration, and environmental sustainability.

The University of Agder (UiA) leads Work Package 1: Coordination and Management, ensuring the smooth operation and strategic alignment of the IANUS project. As the task leader for both project administration and internal coordination, UiA is responsible for establishing the project’s governance structures, reporting procedures, and communication infrastructure. This includes developing the Project Management Handbook, organizing coordination meetings, maintaining documentation systems, and managing contractual obligations such as the Grant and Consortium Agreements. UiA also provides ongoing support to partners, ensuring timely and high-quality reporting, and facilitating collaborative problem-solving throughout the project’s duration.

The University of Agder also leads Work Package 5: Policy Modelling, Scenario Analysis, and Recommendations. UiA is responsible for Task 5.2, which centers on the co-design of policy and practical recommendations. Building on stakeholder mapping and project trajectory insights, UiA will organize a series of interactive policy workshops that engage key actors across the MSCA ecosystem. These workshops will co-create actionable strategies to enhance the societal and policy impact of MSCA projects, particularly in relation to the EU Missions. UiA will also ensure that the recommendations are grounded in real-world challenges and opportunities, informed by continuous stakeholder feedback and best practice evidence.

The University of Milan (Università degli Studi di Milano), also known as „La Statale“, is one of the largest public research universities in Italy. Founded in 1924, it has more than 60,000 students, more than 4,000 professors and researchers, offers 36 doctoral programmes, and is known for its strong academic programmes across 10 faculties, including law, medicine, science, social science and humanities. It is the only Italian university in the League of European Research Universities (LERU), reflecting its excellence in research and innovation. The Department of Social and Political Sciences includes scholars from sociology, political sciences, organisation and law to study contemporary social and political issues. It has twice been recognised as a Department of Excellence by the Italian Ministry of Universities and Research and has one of the highest records of ERC and Horizon Europe grants among social science departments in Italy and Europe.

The BehaveLab team of the Department of Social and Political Sciences will be responsable for the data management protocol for the whole project, will perform research on proposals using topic and network modelling techniqqes to map topics, networks and trends, with the aim of creating an online toolkit to allow external users to navigate internal data, and research using agent-based simulation models to conduct scenario analysis to explore policy design.

University of Split School of Medicine (MEFST) is focused on excellence in medical education and biomedical research and is recognized for its excellent results in education and scientific research in the field of biomedicine and healthcare. MEFST is one of the most prestigious schools of medicine in Croatia with a cutting-edge Centre for translational research in biomedicine (CTRIB). School comprises of several research groups in different disciplines, with around 200 research fellows, technicians, doctoral students and support staff that maintain the MEFST reputation and global standing with world-class research. Research focus of MEFST is translational research in biomedicine achieved through connecting the fields of basic sciences, public health and clinical sciences. School`s vision is to improve transnational cooperation, exchange and networking and excellence with the aim of strengthening the environment for research and innovation, creating high-quality new knowledge, strengthening human capital in the field of research and innovation and encouraging the spread of knowledge and open science.

MEFST leads the activities in Workpackage 4, related to the engagement of MSCA community to capture their perspectives on the contributions of MSCA projects to the EU Missions.
Three studies will be performed to enable a comprehensive understanding of the best practices within MSCA for advancing EU Missions: 1) survey of MSCA beneficiaries across various MSCA actions and Framework Programmes; 2) in-depth case studies of projects linked to the two largest EU Missions, with qualitative interview study with selected project beneficiaries; and 3) focus groups exploring the facilitators and barriers to intersectoral collaboration and the enhancement of project outputs.
The goal of this Workpackage is to inform the development of best practice guidelines applicable to all MSCA actions and all five EU Missions.

Steinbeis Europa Zentrum (SEZ) is an independent economic entity within the Steinbeis Foundation. It was founded in March 1990 as the operational unit of the Commissioner for Europe of Baden-Württemberg’s Minister of Economics. SEZ’s core activity is to promote European Research and Technology Development programmes and to support cross-border technology transfer.
SEZ supports small and medium-sized enterprises on behalf of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Housing of Baden-Württemberg. At the same time, it supports Universities of Applied Sciences on behalf of the Ministry of Science, Research and the Arts Baden-Württemberg.
Moreover, SEZ is involved in several EU-funded projects (more than 70 in 2023) as either partner or coordinator, taking over tasks related to dissemination, communication, exploitation or financial and administrative project management.

Within the IANUS project, Steinbeis Europa Zentrum is responsible for the strategic communication, dissemination, and exploitation of project results. This includes developing tailored tools and activities to raise awareness, foster stakeholder engagement, and ensure long-term impact. Steinbeis also leads the stakeholder mapping and organises policy workshops to connect IANUS with key actors and support evidence-based policymaking.

The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Split is a prominent academic institution in Croatia, offering a diverse range of undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate programs in the humanities and social sciences. Established in 2005 through the merger of the Department of Humanities and the Faculty of Primary Education, the Faculty builds upon a rich educational tradition. It is committed to fostering critical thinking, interdisciplinary research, and academic excellence.
The Faculty provides programs in fields such as Croatian, English, Italian, and German language and literature, philosophy, history, art history, sociology, and psychology. Notably, its undergraduate psychology program is conducted entirely in English and aligns with the European Diploma in Psychology (EuroPsy) standards, preparing students for international academic and professional endeavours. With a strong emphasis on research, international collaboration, and community engagement, the Faculty plays a vital role in promoting cultural heritage and contributing to the development of the social sciences and humanities both nationally and internationally

SUTRA is a key partner in the project, bringing strategic expertise in project management, data governance, policy engagement, and stakeholder communication. It leads the development and implementation of the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Risk Management Plan, ensuring that the project is aligned with its objectives and delivers high-quality results. SUTRA is also responsible for monitoring progress and reporting on the project’s impact over time.

In the area of methodology and data management, SUTRA plays a central role in defining the project’s Data Management Plan, supporting the responsible handling of research data throughout its lifecycle. Additionally, it contributes to the methodological framework, helping ensure scientific coherence and robustness across work packages.

SUTRA is actively engaged in the co-design of policy and practical recommendations, facilitating the integration of stakeholder insights and supporting the development of forward-looking policy guidance. It contributes to policy feedback on key topics such as researchers‘ skills and career development, helping shape relevant and actionable outcomes.

SUTRA leads the project’s clustering and collaboration efforts, fostering synergies with related initiatives and organizing events to promote knowledge exchange. It also contributes to dissemination and capacity-building activities, including training on Horizon Europe proposal writing and the integration of AI-based tools to support research and innovation communities.
